Accommodation

Green Elephant is situated in Cape Town’s student area – Observatory. We are the closest Backpacker to Groote Schuur Hospital (and UCT Medical School) and a 5-minute bus ride from the University of Cape Town. Public transport, shops, bars and restaurants are all a short walk away.

Green Elephant offers budget accommodation to travelers, medical interns, volunteers, students and working folk.

We have been running since 1994 and have 2 houses. The main house has the 6-bed dorm rooms, a BBQ area and a swimming pool. The other house has the triple, twin and single private rooms. Both houses have unlimited Wi-Fi.
